Bina Capital Introduces Free 401(k) Calculator and Retirement Education Resources
The Max 401(k) Calculator turns published contribution limits into paycheck amounts and shows where an employer match stops growing.
MIAMI, FL, UNITED STATES, November 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Bina Capital is introducing its free Max 401(k) Calculator and accompanying retirement education resources to help people connect annual contribution limits with everyday payroll decisions. The calculator translates a published employee contribution ceiling into a percentage of salary and an amount per paycheck, while showing how an employer match changes as employee contributions increase. The Max 401(k) Calculator accepts gross annual salary, current contribution percentage, age, pay frequency and an optional employer match formula. Results show the applicable employee contribution ceiling, the contribution rate that would reach it and the annualized gap between current contributions and that ceiling.
For example, contributing $500 across 24 paychecks adds up to $12,000 in employee contributions over a full year, before investment gains or losses and any employer contribution. The calculator helps readers connect that annual total with the amount deducted from each paycheck.
Employer matching follows a separate formula. On a $60,000 salary, a dollar-for-dollar match on contributions up to 4% of pay would provide $2,400 from the employer. Increasing the employee contribution from 4% to 6% raises employee savings from $2,400 to $3,600, while the employer match remains $2,400 under that example formula.
Age-based results distinguish the standard employee limit, the catch-up available from age 50 and the higher catch-up band for ages 60 through 63. The tool uses published limits for supported tax years. Its paycheck figures spread the annual ceiling across the selected pay frequency; they do not calculate what someone can still contribute during the remaining pay periods of the year.
Bina’s accompanying 2027 contribution limits guide brings together retirement contribution rules, links to official IRS sources and explanations of Roth and traditional account choices. It distinguishes published figures from limits awaiting an official announcement. As of November 1, the IRS had not published the 2027 retirement contribution limits. Based on recent announcement dates, Bina estimates a November release; this is an estimate, not an IRS-confirmed schedule.
The calculator and guides provide educational estimates, not personalized investment, tax or financial advice. They do not recommend that someone contribute the maximum amount. Plan eligibility, payroll rounding, vesting and individual circumstances can affect how the examples apply.
